Understanding Roof & Panel Options
-
Opal
White in general appearance, great for allowing in light as semi-transparent but also great for privacy as little more than rough shadows can be seen.
The most popular choice as also does not show dirt/marks easily. -
Clear
This is relatively transparent but flutes (walls) inside means you can’t see through it particularly well.
Let’s in a great deal of light. -
Solar
Visually similiar to Opal but with an added layer of UV Solar Protection.
By deflecting sunlight, the silver/grey heat controlling outer layer is effective in reducing solar heat gain through the roof by up to 50% -
Ultra Clear
With less flutes (walls) inside it is the most translucent and almost like glass.
Lets in the most light and gives the clearest view.

Should you wish to have the water directed to a drain or other location then our downpipe outlet can be used to connect a downpipe underneath the gutter and this can be ran to a suitable point of choice.

Customising The Size
The canopy size can be adjusted by trimming the posts, bars and sheets to suit. If trimming sheet lengths, please ensure you purchase some anti-dust tape which is used at each end of the sheet to stop dust and insects entering the sheets. Also, if trimming we recommend purchasing touch up paint to touch up any cut edges to ensure the metal is protected.
If joining canopies together, a post would need to be located below the join and the gutter would need to be lined internally with butyl sealant tape. -
Posts
4060mm widths come with 2 posts, 5060-8060mm widths 3 posts and 9060-12060mm widths 4 posts. Posts must be set with a maximum of 4m between them and there must be posts within 350mm of each end.
Posts with base plates come 2.5m tall and plain-ended posts come 3m tall.
Posts can be fixed by bolting the footplate into the ground, by bolting the footplate to a concrete block fixed under the ground or by sinking the posts itself into the ground.
If you are fixing a post next to a wall where the base plate can not be used nor the ground excavated to sink the post, then an internal footplate can be used to fix the post to a suitable floor surface.
Additional posts can be purchased if required for aesthetics or customisation.
