Concealed U bracket for 110x110mm square post

This U bracket can only be used with square 110x110mm posts but can be used to fit a post without a foundation block or foot plate. It does not provide as secure a fixing, however can be used where wind uplift is minimal and is especially useful when fitting a post tight to a wall where other methods of fixing are not practical.

Secure the bracket with 4 x suitable fixings into a solid floor, sit the post over and then secure in place with 4 x screws (2 front, 2 back) through the post and bracket (use the self tapping screws having pre-drilled a 3mm hole first).
